Neutral vendor recruitment outsourcing expert GRI has been named as a finalist in the 2019 CIPS Supply Management Awards.
Respected as a benchmark for excellence, a CIPS Supply Management Award is the most prestigious recognition an organisation or individual in the procurement and supply chain profession can receive.
Shortlisted for an entry with client organisation Biffa in the ‘Supplier Relationship Management’ category, judges commented that the calibre of entries this year was extremely high and the competition was very tough.
In this challenging climate, GRI’s partnership with Biffa is delivering a range of significant efficiencies that include cost savings of £1million, the reduction of thousands of invoices to just one per week and procuring and managing over 1,000 agency workers on average per month. Ultimately, helping Biffa to deliver quality, compliant and effective waste management and recycling services to over 2.3 million households in the UK.
Andrew Preston, CEO of GRI, commented:
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for a 2019 CIPS Supply Management Award, in recognition of our work with Biffa to provide the very best staffing solutions across their c.200 sites.
“This demonstrates our ethos and commitment to drive better value in the supply chain, an enhanced service delivery experience – with the support of our like-minded recruitment agency partners – and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.”
Winners will be announced in a ceremony on Wednesday 11 September 2019 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
