Neutral vendor recruitment outsourcing specialist GRI has been added to the first ever HSJ Healthcare Partnership Awards Winners list.

Scooping a prestigious accolade in the ‘Best Procurement Support/Service’ category for our work with client organisation Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP), the announcement was made at a ceremony in London in March

The HSJ Partnership Awards launched in 2018 and serve to recognise and celebrate the best partnerships with the NHS and shine a spotlight on the projects that work for the benefit of the NHS and its patients.

HSJ reported that all winners demonstrated outstanding commitment to working in collaboration with the NHS through cutting edge innovation and service provision.

HSJ editor Alastair McLellan said:

“The innovation displayed by our winners and finalists is impressive. It is also, of course, vital to the service’s sustainability and future.

“Faced with seemingly impossible efficiency targets, and having made every possible economy, NHS organisations need their expertise to maintain service quality within an ever-tightening budget. There is also little chance of the Five Year Forward View becoming reality without advances developed by commercial suppliers becoming an integral part of the NHS operating model.

“The companies we celebrate are those that have accepted the challenge to help the NHS deliver during a period of intense pressure.”

Andrew Preston, CEO of GRI, commented:

“We are delighted to have secured a win for ‘Best Procurement Support/Service’ in the first ever HSJ Healthcare Partnership Awards, in recognition of our partnership with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to provide the very best, sustainable temporary staffing solutions.

“This serves as a testament to our commitment and aligned vision to drive better value in the supply chain and an enhanced service delivery experience, whilst ensuring patient care remains of paramount importance.”

Stephen Wilson, Head of Procurement – Infrastructure Services at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are delighted that this award win shows, by working together, the NHS and the industry can simultaneously achieve both high quality patient care and value for money through procurement.

“Ultimately, it is about achieving optimum value for all service users”.
