GRI, the UK’s leading neutral-vendor service provider for contingent workers, has been re-awarded the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) contract for a further three years, with an extension option for an additional 24 months.
Accessible nationwide, the NEPO contract is a framework for a vendor neutral managed service for temporary agency workers. Existing incumbent GRI successfully achieved the win again despite bids from five competing suppliers in the neutral vendor space.
Andrew Preston, Chief Executive of GRI, said:
“We have provided a neutral vendor service to NEPO customers since November 2014, with the strength of the partnership being recognised by a National Outsourcing Association Award for Excellence in 2016. The NEPO framework award, in effect an extension of our previous contract win, recognises that we offer a best in class competitive service, complimentary values and exceptional delivery. In particular, the award demonstrates our ongoing commitment and ability to add value as a trusted partner day-in, day-out, long-term.”
“Over the life of the contract we have made significant investments in our account team, as well as our vendor management system e-tips®, to deliver impressive results - including over £1.5m in direct savings. We are very much looking forward to the next chapter.”
